U.S. Energy Development Corporation’s CEO Wins Upstream Executive of the Year by D CEO Magazine
(ARLINGTON, TEXAS) – December 15, 2021 – U.S. Energy Development Corporation (U.S. Energy) is proud to announce that its CEO, Jordan Jayson won Upstream Executive of the Year in D CEO’s 2021 Energy Awards. Judges from D CEO determined the finalists and winners.
The Energy Awards recognized 32 companies, leaders and business deals that push the bounds of the energy sector and are making innovative strides in their field. In 2021, the magazine expanded its reach to welcome leaders and executives in renewable energy and oil and gas to be nominated.
“I am very excited to be named by D CEO as Upstream Executive of the Year,” said Jordan. “Being recognized in front of other energy industry leaders that I respect is an incredible honor. This is a win not just for me, but our entire team.”
Jayson became CEO of U.S. Energy in 2014. During his tenure, he has led the company to invest in, operate, and/or drill more than 2,400 wells in 13 states and Canada; deploying over $1.6 billion on behalf of itself and its partners. Since 2019, U.S. Energy has deployed more than $25 million of capital in Opportunity Zones, with heavy emphasis on Texas opportunities in the Permian Basin.
Jayson has provided U.S. Energy with exceptional leadership, a curiosity to find creative solutions to modern-day problems and a gripping focus on the company’s bottom line. Jayson was instrumental in implementing U.S. Energy’s ESG initiative and made it the first amongst its direct competitors to implement internationally recognized standards. His awareness of the ever-evolving world of energy has helped his team think steps ahead and use every experience as one to learn from.
D CEO Magazine is recognizing all winners in the November 2021 issue. Winners were honored at an exclusive award event in late October.
