U.S. Energy’s Bobby Davis is Named One of Hart Energy’s 25 Impactful Veterans in Energy for 2021
(ARLINGTON, TEXAS) – Jan. 19, 2022 – U.S. Energy Development Corporation (U.S. Energy) is proud to announce that its Chief Reservoir Engineer, Bobby Davis is honored as one of Hart Energy’s 25 Impactful Veterans In Energy. The award recognizes military veterans who demonstrated leadership and contributions to the energy industry through their roles in fulfilling their company’s mission. Hart Energy is featuring the list of honorees in the January issue of Oil and Gas Investor.
Nominees for this distinction are required to be employed in management, technology, product and service development, sales or field services within the energy industry and had to have served on active duty during their military career. Companies throughout the energy sector nominated team members who deserved recognition for their service in the armed forces, as well as their impact on the company’s long-term success.
“Being named as one of 25 individuals who received this award is truly an honor,” said Davis. “Not only does this award recognize my veteran status in the United States Armed Forces, but also the hard work I have put into my civilian career in energy.”
“This is a well-deserved honor for Bobby to receive. Our entire team is honored to be working side by side with him,” said U.S. Energy’s CEO, Jordan Jayson. “Bobby is a strong advocate for fellow veterans and service members. He has dedicated himself to becoming a mentor to those who have served and wish to pursue a career in the oil and gas industry.”
Davis enlisted in the United States Armed Forces in 1974, just as the Vietnam War was ending. He served on active duty for three years before he was honorably discharged at the rank of E-5 Buck Sergeant. After serving his country, Davis attended Midland College and earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in petroleum technology. He continued his education by attending Texas Tech University, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in petroleum engineering.
Davis currently serves as the Chief Reservoir Engineer for U.S. Energy. In this role, he is responsible for acquisitions and divestitures, corporate reserves and all internal reservoir evaluations.
In addition to Oil and Gas Investor’s January 2022 issue, winners were honored at an exclusive award event in December.
