Mike Stophlet is Chief Operating Officer for U.S. Energy Development Corporation. Mr. Stophlet is recognized throughout the industry as a senior executive who has consistently produced revenue and fostered top-line performance; providing value to his organizations. Mike's extensive background in the oil & gas industry includes a twenty-two year career with Schlumberger Limited (the world's largest oil field service company) in regions from Oklahoma, Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, Arkansas, Texas, Alaska and internationally in the North Sea and Russia. Mike has excelled in roles from field engineering, technical management to executive leadership. Mike most recently served as President and Chief Executive Officer for AES Services, Inc. (a construction and technical services organization with 4,000 employees). Today, Mike oversees U.S. Energy's operations and production divisions.

Mike graduated with a BS degree in Geology from the University of Arkansas and further enhanced his education at Texas Tech University (Field Geology, and numerous corporate management training courses), the University of Virginia, Darden Graduate School of Business Administration and attended the Thunderbird Graduate School for their Advanced Management Program.
